
Do you know what housing sales look like in your area?
Sales of existing single-family homes in Greensboro, NC were down by 32.4 percent in March.
According to data released by the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association, 357 homes were sold in the city in March 2009 compared to 528 in March 2008. 310 houses sold in February.
The median price for homes fell 14 percent, to $121,000. That was a slight increase from the median home price of $118,500 in February.
The total dollar volume for all sales, at $52.8 million, was still off by more than 40 percent compared to a year ago. February total dollar volume was $44.6 million.
