It's a classic, and I absolutely love it! It wouldn't be Christmas without it. It's a heartwarming story, and I love how Kris won over both the little girl and the mother. One of my favorite scenes is when he sings a song with the little Dutch girl. It gets me right there, every time. It really is better to give than to receive. I believe a true gift is given with no strings attached, no expectations whatsoever, and watching Miracle on 34th Street reinforces my beliefs.
